At Tangent One we have tried to create a welcoming environment for our clients to visit as well as a comfortable day-to-day work hub for staff where ideas can flourish. We’re a very open bunch, and input from everyone is pretty much mandatory in everything we do – whether that’s brainstorming for a creative brief, choosing the office interior or selecting the radio station on Apple TV for the day.
Ooooh, Shiny!
One of the many perks of being at Tangent is that we always provide our staff with the best equipment. This ensures that everyone can work to their maximum capacity. iPads, Macbook Pros, wide screens and or the latest Adobe software – we make sure each member is kitted out properly.
Training and conferences
When our staff members are after a dollop of extra nerdiness in their working lives, Tangent supports learning and development in their relevant sector. With the constant drive to be innovative, we like to make sure our team is fully versed in the latest technologies and trends.
Flexible working hours
At Tangent, we put in the man-hours to get things finished to deadline. If something needs fixing, then we’ll be here making it work, whatever the time of day. This means we can be fairly flexible with how we work during the ‘quieter’ times. We’re not going to monitor every second our staff come in late after 9am. Our people are honest folk, and if they need to work from home for a personal reason for the day then that’s fine too. It’s important that we can trust our staff to be there when the going gets tough in the office, so we’ll be flexible with them when the going gets tough at home.
Lord of the Fridays
We’re always up for a foray with a French Canadian or a brief fling with a Belgian on Friday lunchtimes. The Team Tangent trip to Lord of the Fries on a Friday is treated as a sacred event. For those on a higher protein diet, there’s a variety of cuisine on Clarendon Street fit for the health junkies in the office.
